1. Direct Support Professional (DSP)
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for day-to-day care of our clients, ensuring the ISP is followed. Helps clients integrate into the community, and assists with production work inside the workshop environment. Transports clients to and from workshop using company vehicles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Ensures the health, safety, and security of program participants by adhering to all related policies and procedures
· Provides supervision to program participants in an adult workshop, or other day habilitation or community setting according to board policies/procedures and individualized service plans
· Assists program participants with personal care needs in areas of function such as eating, drinking, using the toilet, positioning, walking, using a wheelchair, transferring and other assessed needs
· Implements behavior support plans with emphasis on positive and proactive measures
· Maintains accurate and complete production, attendance, incident repot, behavioral and individual plan documentation
· Maintains quality control standards as set forth by the production supervisor on all piece work or other production
· Works cooperatively with other adult services employees to develop and implement individual service plans
· Transports clients to and from company locations and community events using company vehicles
· Ensures and maintains harmonious and effective relationship with other employees, program participants, parent/guardians, and state and local community service agencies
· May be required to restrain individuals who present risk of harm to self or others
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS
· High School Diploma or GED
· Warm, caring demeanor
· Must be able to adapt to changes
· Reliable punctuality and attendance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to push clients in wheelchairs if necessary. May be required to physically restrain client if behavior is a danger to themselves or others. Must be able to occasionally use computer. Eyesight capabilities must be sufficient to perform these functions. Hearing must be adequate to perform these functions.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Must possess valid drivers license
· Must pass criminal background check
· Must pass pre-employment drug screen
· Must pass pre-employment physical exam
· Must obtain and maintain current First Aid and CPR/AED Certificates
· Complete all DODD training requirements
2. PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - Niles
SUMMARY: Assists Production Manager with day-to-day production operation of a facility. The Production Assistant is responsible for completing production of parts though assembly and packaging which meet customer needs. Position holder must have a working knowledge of production, quality standards and strong attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Ensure the health and welfare of the individuals we work with by following all UNA, Inc. policies and procedures.
· Operates forklift safely following standards and guidelines.
· Operates box truck safely following standards and guidelines.
· Assist with daily setup and stocking of various assembly areas
· Ensures contracted work is completed in a timely manner, under direction of Production Manager
· Takes ownership of loading dock area, and ensures shipments sent and received on schedule
· Covers for the production manager as needed.
· Provides ongoing education and supervision to individuals enrolled in the program according to person-centered, individualized service plans.
· Maintain accurate and complete reports in all areas of service.
· Maintain quality and control standards on all production work.
· Works cooperatively with all other UNA, Inc. employees, individuals, parents/guardians, businesses, and local and state service agencies and community members.
· May be assigned to cover a unit or transportation route, if necessary
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
· Knowledge of DODD rules and regulations
· Able to professionally communicate with businesses and employees
· Extremely organized self-starter
· Ability to adapt to changes and spur of the moment decision-making
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and move objects. Must be able to stoop, stretch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Eyesight capabilities must be sufficient to perform these functions. Hearing must be adequate to perform these functions.

3. Inventory Control Specialist - Portage Industries
SUMMARY: Oversees the ordering, storing, receiving and distribution processes of an organization’s products and supplies. Controls the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Bachelors Degree in inventory or supply chain management is a plus
· Minimum of two years of experience in inventory management
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong attention to detail
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
· Experience working with cloud based inventory management software or ERP system
· Experience with Microsoft suite and most importantly MS Excel
· Knowledge of inventory principles, concepts, and procedures
· Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and analysis preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand, walk the production floor, and move objects. Must be able to stoop, stretch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Must be able to sit at a computer occasionally. Eyesight capabilities must be sufficient to perform these functions. Hearing must be adequate to perform these functions.
